Comedy Stealth Prototype
ROLE
Independent
DESCRIPTION
This was a prototype I made for one of my University projects, which was an assignment to make a prototype to communicate some game design choices. I decided to base mine on comedic stealth, with inspirations such as Austin Powers. My main priorities were keeping a consistent theme of humor while also working it into the mechanics. I did this by having stealth sections be quite comedic in nature, and by having the character play a charmer who is somehow able to convince people with the most out-there lies.
Unconventional Hiding
To thematically fit the idea of a stealth game which is silly or out there, I blocked out various hiding places which were more on the comedic side, such as hiding as a lamp or underneath a rug. This meant that even though it was clearly obvious that someone was hiding, the enemies wouldn't care and would move on.

Unbelievable Persuasion
When making this game, I also made a mockup of a very basic persuasion system, which has very out-there options to try persuade the enemies not to attack you.
